So is that not happening?
No. Joeckel and Benedict are in the pool just like everyone else.

So are Dan and I going to just have one less player than everyone else or do we get a replacement pick now?

My personal take is that just as Auburn doesn't get a replacement for Shon Coleman, neither should I. Same with James. It happens. Its no different than if they stepped on campus and suffered a career ending injury then other than the time frame.
If you want an additional pick, I'm fine with that. But I'm staying pat.

I'm gonna pretend like the last pick of the draft is like NSD. Anything before the last pick the players are just a solid verbal to our fictional team. So we can find a replacement.
I'll have my replacement in a few minutes.

I am fine either way, but I think the argument against it is that we will all end up with kids who either don't ever make it to campus (grades, behavior issues) or never see the field. The difference is your two tragic events happened during the draft. It is similar (but far less tragic obviously) to a fantasy draft I had the year that Mike Vick was taken 1st overall in many drafts. During the draft he was playing a pre-season game against the Saints. We got into the 3rd round and Vick broke his leg. Sucked hard for the guy who picked first.

If the powers that be would grant me a replacement for James, RIP, I would like Aleon Calhoun OT Texas Tech.
Pretty raw prospect, but he's mean as shite and very physical. I'll take that combined with his size anyday.

I vote option 2
I see about 26 quality players in the list of enfuegoed players. I think we would all get one and you would really hate to let guys like Luc and Easley not get a place in this draft. However, I think it damages the integrity of the pics made. I'm good either way, but I think we should just leave our teams be.

I vote option 2...keep everything like it is...for all we know, bad arses like Luc may not even make it to campus, thats just the nature of the beast
