I have no idea why this guy was rated so low. I understand he played in 1A, but he looks absolutely great.
With Colt gone, Tejas will probably begin using the RB more often to help out Gilbert.

13th pick, Max Bullough, ILB, Mich St.
Guess a 3-4 it is!

I absolutely loved Bullough as MLB. Then I saw Mich St. got a commitment from Lawrence Thomas, the best MLB for next years class, and I figured he probably might not get as much playing time because of this.
Thomas attends Renaissance High, which has been feeding Mich St. for years with great players.
Still a great get, this late, if he gets some PT.

Tate Nichols - OT (Notre Dame)
6'7, 275
Big TE that will move to OT at ND. Love the athleticism as a pass catcher and basketball player moving to the OL. He has a nice offer list as well.
Putting on weight and learning the technique to play OT will his biggest obstacles to overcome. On the flip side, he has a great frame, balance, and plays with intensity to the whistle.

If he doesn't pick soon he'll lose his spot permanently.

Hey Dan, here's a thought...What if after the draft is done, we take the players off of the guys' teams who quit/got booted and re-draft them to add to our squads?
Posted on 3/27/10 at 6:46 pm to GulfCoastBiased

I can't tell if this is sarcasm so I will just laugh.

Yeah, we've talked about this. We'll do some version of that for sure. Enough people have asked.
Posted on 3/27/10 at 7:10 pm to OBUDan
Gotcha. I figured that someone would have mentioned it, but I wasn't about to go through 50+ pages to look for it.
Posted on 3/27/10 at 7:14 pm to GulfCoastBiased
totally understandable.
Yeah, what I think is the best solution is the "take a player, leave a player" model.
I'll randomly draw the names out for a new draft order and then if you want a guy from the pool you have to drop a player of the same position. Or something along those lines. That being said, I don't want people to start slacking in the draft just because they think they can take a guy that's already been taken.

I agree, I think there should be some kind of incentive in the point system for keeping the players you drafted yourself.
