I hoping to let him slip a little longer, but I had to pull the trigger now.
If you look on the OLB rankings, he is not on there for some reason. The rankings skip from 18 to 20. So, I held off for a few rounds. For that reason, I figured I could get him by most of the people drafting, except the really good drafters/posters.

We're almost through 10. Only 12 more to go!

holy shite..... a 3-month long mock draft. By the time this ends, you can probably sneak some 2012 players in there.
Posted on 3/24/10 at 10:21 am to Big Fat
I've considered throwing a 2010 stud or two in there just to see if anyone notices. We might as well start the 2011 mock after this one is over

Thank you, thank you. You're far too kind.

I'm glad someone picked him. He kept coming up and I kept talking myself out of drafting him. Looks to be an unmotivated/underacheing player but ranked high on potential. Glad I can't consider him anymore personally.

Good pick. He wouldn't have gone past round 12 or 13 though because I was going to pick him then.

Austin Haywood - TE (Oklahoma)
6'4, 245
4.8 40yd
Highlights
Love seeing him lined up at WC QB. He has soft hands and he is good after the catch, too. No blocking clips on the film but I think another 10-15 lb's will have him ready for that. Oklahoma utilizes the TE more than most and I think in a year or two he will step into the role previously held by Joe Jon Finley and Jermaine Gresham as a big contributor to OU's high powered offense.

Dan has my next pick and I'm just letting my next next pick marinate a bit whenever I come up in a couple picks.
