Suntiger selects: Josh Shirley, LB

With the 126th pick in the Tiger Droppings Recruiting Board Mock Draft, OBUDan Selects:
QB, Andrew Hendrix
Go figure, another tough choice for me. This year is an extremely weak class of QBs, and my main concern was reaching when I could have a better player, but with basically every team after me needing a QB and the talent pool shrinking, I thought now was the time. Hendrix has great size and his overall physical tools cannot be questioned. He can make all the throws and at 6'3 he's got the size to play at the next level. He's definitely a pro-style type QB, but has played almost exclusively out of the shotgun. Hendrix needs a ton of work on his fundamentals and mechanics. He's very raw in that aspect, but playing for Brian Kelly, who has had tremendous success with basically every QB, I think he'll have a tremendous chance to put up huge number in South Bend. Florida recruited Hendrix, which says enough to me about his ability. He can throw and I also like his ability to run and get out of the pocket to make throws if he gets in trouble. With Ambles as a target on my team, and Shon Coleman protecting his blind side, I think he will be a great success.

I liked the theatrics with that pick.

I like Hendrix but I hate the fact that ND had FOUR QBs in this class. Kelly also brought 2 of them in once he got there, 2 guys he was recruiting at Cincy. SLIM SLIM chance he ever plays with so many other QBs to compete with. Just a risky choice IMO

Now let's see if Enfuego ever shows...

It sucks, but there weren't many choices worth a shite in this class. I'm waiting for someone to come out with a "good" pick at QB.

Don't worry, OUandLSUfan's pick will be perfect, because he's surely let all of us know that our picks suck.

this damn thing is still going on?

it's not even half way finished

You can take over for Enfuego
He seems to have disappeared.

I will be amazed if this draft ever finishes. Each round is going to go more and more slowly. Too many people were involved. Next year it should be capped at about 12.

I knew it was going to take a while. Having more teams means that into the later rounds people are really going to need to know some prospects, where as if there were only 12 teams, we'd still be picking amongst the top 120 halfway through the draft. As is, most of the top 100 guys have been taken and now we are starting to get into different guys.
I know it's not the fastest process, but with the exception of Enfuego, it's moving along.

Bump him until he shows up.

Just skip him and put an asterisk that says *Needs to pick*
Thats how we did it on the other board.

I'm considering dropping him entirely. He missed his last pick and didn't even bother to come in the thread and say anything about it.
