You said no taking OL and making them DL, or vice versa.
Not exclusively. But be realistic. For instance, Seantrel Henderson is a LT exclusively. Don't draft a guy like him and say he'll be a DT.
However, some guys play both ways in HS and are going to be tried both ways on the next level, so there's no problem with saying you'd want them at DT, even if they are listed as an OG.

EX: DE is taken, but I will place that player in a DT spot. Or, ATH is taken, plays both offense and defense, and I chose wherever they are placed.
Exactly. So long as it is realistic, I don't mind. I know for me personally there was an oversized DE I was looking at that I think could play DT (and probably will at the next level).

Also, what if a player is listed at an a certain position, but it is widely known that this player will be on the other side of the ball. What then?
I think I answered this above, but if not feel free to ask away.

Observations after three rounds:
Most impressive draft so far IMO is fightingsaint3. He has Luc, Matt Elam, J. Scroggins and Malcolm Jones. Wasn't a big fan of Jones, but the other three should be studs.
HM to Flask and BayouCat who also have studly drafts.
Most surprising was that Cameron Newton lasted until the last pick (pick 54) of the second round. I thought he was the best QB available and there was a big drop off after that.

I like Dro's team a lot - stacked at corner.

Terrence Mitchell, CB
ETA: I'm happy with my 1, 3, and 4 picks so far. Mitchell and Damien have a chance to make an impact as freshmen. Wilson will be competing but will probably have to wait. Smith is the biggest uncertainty. I just don't know how he'll do or where he'll end up in the 3-4.
My next six to eight picks are probably the most important for me. If guys that I pegged as being available are not there, then I'm screwed.

Now to wait another 50 some odd picks. Should be in about a week.

The #1 middle linebacker in the class of 2010 Penn State committ Mike Hull. What a steal.

By virtue of the fact that he hasn't been on in 2 days and his last pick was made by one of his homies:
Enfuego selects, Michael Palardy, K.

Really was. He was the top guy on the list of three I was looking at for this pick. I think Hull and Redd are big steals at this point.

I was just about to email you 2 players since I was walking out the door.
My pick is the next Tony Gonzalez:
Curtis White TE, Oregon

Another tough decision for me. Wasn't sure if I wanted another rush OLB, one of my 3-4 ends or a difference making defensive back.
I went with the Defensive back.
With the 91st pick in the Tiger Droppings Recruiting Board Mock Draft, OBUDan selects:
Demar Dorsey, DB
I like Dorsey for several reasons. 1) He's a hard nosed player. 2) He offers some versatility because he could play safety or corner, which is something I'll have to decide. He does have some off the field issues and I"m sure he and Ambles will get arrested together at some point in my team's season, but I'm happy to have their athletic ability

One thing I like about this is that everyone seems to be using different lists. Some guys value Scout, some value Rivals and some ESPN... some have their own take.
It makes it more challenging because I'm all about drafting the best players available but that becomes much more subjective when you don't know what lists people are working off.

Suntiger picks Jawuan James OT.
Might not see him for a year or two, but it's hard to pass on a guy who is 6'6" 293 and has excelent footwork. Once he works out for a few years he will be an excellent tackle and there isn't a whole lot of depth in front of him.
I was going to pick him this time, but I was going to make him a DE. Seems like a better fit there, plus there are all ready seven TE's on the roster and only about three or four DE's. He may get early PT as a DE.

Seems like he has a lot of "potential". He's not going to start as a freshman like Oher or A. Smith, but has the size and ability to be just as good. I'm thinking if he "busts" he will still be about as good as Herman Johnson.
