We haven't decided yet. My guess is that it will consist of numbers of games played, starts, post season awards and draft position (some sort of bonus for getting drafted early). I am against using any recruiting service rankings in our points system. I think that Dan has threatened to attempt to rank the teams based on rankings, which will be entertaining for the short term. However, I think that a player's perceived value coming out of high school should not affect our draft evaluation. Their performance in college should.

I agree that it shouldn't play into long term rankings, but I think it would be cool to see how it all breaks out.

I was hoping for a few more votes. I basically just flipped a coin to decide Drake. It was between Drake and Rogers.

I think it would be good just so we can see the difference in potential and actuallity at the end of this.

i think it would be cool to see a ranking ranking of our teams. But it won't count towards the end. A projection of sorts.
I also like the idea someone put out of ranking each others teams, excluding your own, and getting dan those results as the 1st points

+1
The real colleges get ranked based on there performance. Rivals ranks classes as well as all of the sites. The variance will be cool to see who was a real evaluator or just basing thier picks off what the pros say.
This weekend they will rank the draft classes for the NFL teams before these kids touch the field. Now I agree they shouldnt play any part in the overall score.

With the last picks in this year's draft, I will take Laurence Gibson, OT, VA Tech and throw back Robert Griffin.
For my bonus pick, give me Nicholas Parker, RB, Ole Piss.
I think my defense is right at the top of the teams. My offense is built of some "under the radar" guys that I hope come through the way I think they can. Done like dinner!

Is this thing over yet?
Or do we have to keep seeing OUandLSU post his damn team over and over and over again?

I just got finished watching ESPN's 30 for 30 "a silly little game" about the creation of fantasy sports and Dan Okrent (the inventor of Rotisserie baseball) said something to the effect of there is nothing more interesting than your team and nothing less interesting than someone else's team.
First thing I thought of was this since there is so many players on people's teams we still have not heard of or know and we all think we made the next great discovery in the 20th round.
