Depends on what you consider for best athlete. Brian West threw 98mph and was called the best HS DE ever by Dandy Don. I will say we've had 4 kids in the last 30 years run in the 4.3s to my knowledge. NONE of them did it before they stepped foot on campus. This kid could literally break the NFL combine record...while in HS...Just an all time level athlete.

Yeah legit 4.3s and high 4.2s is crazy arse speed in real life. I played against Nilo Silvan when he was at St Paul's and that dude could fly. We were both freshman and he skunked our senior OLB several times and my coach said get in there and shut that mother fricker down. If you frick up you never playing again. Bam first play I stuff his arse! In the back field and read it perfectly! Second play i thought i was gonna kill him again. Nope fricker juked me and ran like 60 yards for a TD. That kid was legit the fastest ive ever seen in person that I played against.
He went to Tennessee and got into trouble for rape or some shite. Kicked off the team and then played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers as a return guy.
Ive met alot of guys that say I ran this or I run this or that in hs and I say to myself BS!!
With that said the Moody kid was supposed to have ran a 4.39 or something thats what got him the offer to Lsu
