I dont see bama ending up number 1, but it is possible. the way i see it is if RR goes to LSU (which he is) then LSU ends up 1, if he ends up in ttown, bama is 1. LSU will have five 5 stars, Bama will have 4 maybe 5 (greg reid). yall can have kendall kelly, id rather have pat patterson. its pretty crazy that two teams in one subdivision of a conference can dominate recruiting like bama and LSU, both top 5 classes back to back years.

I agree with you on that point. I think if LSU gets Randle, they are pretty much a lock for the top spot. The only way Bama gets #1 is if they sign Randle, keep Richardson, and sign most of their uncommitted guys (Kelly, Patterson, Myles Jr., Stinson, Reid, Massie, etc.)

I can't imagine all of these guys will go to Bama, especially Reid. I also have been hearing that Patterson is deciding between Ole Miss and Tenn, but he might not be academically qualified. Maybe Kelly would have been a safer bet.

Bama would have to get every guy left on the board, including RR. Which isn't happening..

I have doubts about Stinson, Kelly, Myles, and Moore.

I would say we land 1/3 of Kelly, Myles, and Moore.

Still a better class than last year.

Bama would have to sign 6 four star recruits to get to about the 2725 mark.

LSU will be at 2750 with Randle and Mingo.

As you can see, it would take a miracle for Bama to finish #1.

USC however has a really good chance at finishing #1.

woah, really? only six 4 stars to take the lead? that is very possible, i didnt know it would be that close. taken lsu doesnt get anyone else significant besides rr and mingo, maybe sam montgomery? im not to familiar with the lsu recruiting situation besides anyone bama related.
its kinda funny that the only posters on here that arent lsu fans are bama fans.

word is rudy is walking on at bama, and could put bama over the top and steal number 1 away from lsu.
dont be surprised to see greg reid in crimson next year.
