She’s an insane talent. LSU is very much in the mix with her and Leanne Wong
Btw both train Amanars, Wong practically has it now, Eaker is almost there.

Kara is a natural on beam....she gave a beautiful performance on floor also at American Classic...really hoping that she will choose LSU.

I will gladly take all the GAGE girls for that one recruiting class.
Whatever Al Fong is doing down at GAGE, its working. Jeffrey, Scott, Finnegan, Eaker, Wong.
Simply incredible
Phenomenal blend of artistry, power and just all around great technique. Its the full package.

How would y'all feel seeing Sierra Ballard join the 2020 class as a walk on
I don't see any type of scholarship room for her given we have bigger fish already and definitely not should we add Kiya Johnson
She has a lot of talent and given ability given the facilities she works in.
She has a great foundation on beam, trains and performs a double Arabian on floor
On vault she is suppose to put out a 1 1/2 this year but she's extremely raw and talented. Much like Sarah Edwards, if they give her some better training and polish her some more could do some great stuff in college
LINK
Here is a training video she put out last summer but she was at camp in June, she looked very good. I think the sky is the limit with her, she has a great foundation and seem to pick up on stuff relatively quick

We need to reload our “Olympian offspring” roster...her mom was amazing.

I think Jay is already aware of her.

The entire field is set for US Classic, everyone needs to be watching
All commits and recruiting prospects will be competing
Not all will compete in the all around, some will work specifically on upgrades in competition setting. Aleah may be throwing some of her floor and beam upgrades in this meet from what I was told
Jeffrey will look to qualify to P&G championships
DD is suppose to go to P&G championships

Also everyone needs to keep an eye on Olivia Dunne, she has some gigantic upgrades that look great in the gym that she is suppose to be showcasing.
We will likely see the upgrades on floor and beam
She has some crazy combinations right now on bars that she is working out. Her D scores are about to sky rocket.
Not sure what the plan is for vault, she has been training a 1 1/2 and double twist yurchenko. You cannot compete just a full, it kills your all around score.

I hope Jeffrey qualifies. I also saw that Dunne has to qualify too to make it to P&G's. For some reason, I thought she had already qualified. I hope she can compete all the upgrades with ease, and hopefully she can vault the 1.5 to boost her score a bit.

So, since we’re well into a dead period in LSU sports, let’s have some fun and predict potential lineups for this year’s team. We’ll go rotation by rotation, starting with vault. It’ll be fun to discuss it now, and then revisit it again as the season approaches.
Vault –
Seems to be the easiest to predict with us just losing Hambrick, but with the vaulting depth this year, we could seem some shakeups.
I think the most realistic lineup is:
Cannamela
Ferrer
Edwards
Kelley
Finnegan
Edney
Not 100% sure on the order, but this potential lineup is taking into account McKenna is healthy enough to come back in more than just floor and Finnegan upgrades to go for the National All-around title her Senior year. This year’s team will have some powerful vaulters not in the lineup. Lexie and Ruby are solid backups and I think we’ll see them in and out of the lineup all year, especially towards post season. Ruby because she only seems to vault well on platform (minus SECs this year) and Lexie to protect her body.
What do you think the vault lineup will look like?

Wow...that's awesome to hear that Kiya will wear the purple and gold!

It will be interesting to see if Finnegan upgrades on vault. She will need it to be in the mix for a high scoring all around at nationals. Julianna also has an upgrade that could be used if all goes well leading up to competition.
