FWIW, I think he ends up at Auburn. If we didn't visit for a long as his coach says, then a full-court press at the end won't be enough. Our staff took the highest rated player in the state and, in essence, told him he was second tier. The damage has already been done.

Long term, this may be a good thing. The loss of Reed doesn't kill us with the guys we have lined up, and hopefully it will wake our staff up from its complacency with in-state recruiting. With next year's class being so big, we can't afford to be taking LA players for granted. With this fresh reminder and new blood on the the offensive staff, I think we see things work a little differently from here on out.

....understand this, our staff doesn't predicate recruiting based upon Rivals or Scout.....while he may be highly rated by those sites, the true experts may not feel he is better than others on the same needs list. Davis > Reed, for example. But, Davis is gone now.

I wouldn't hold it against him for going to Auburn, but Andolsekville will.......

Ok Mr. 11,477 posts, I get your point. I am on some other boards covering other subjects. Some of them have Mods, some have Admins. They tend to run together.

FWIW, the comment wasn't directed at you. You are much more reasonable than some of your fellow brethren from the plains.
