Offensive line:

Tristan Leigh- I have felt from the beginning that he was the most important recruit we were after. Mason and Foremen might be better players but we need elite LT. After his visit with family to BR this guys seemed all LSU. He brought his GF the next weekend, I am assuming to show her where he decided to play. I just have a feeling she burst his bubble. I think she ways heavy in his decision making but this is just theory on my part. This is a toss up at this point but I still like our chances.

Eric Wilson- Don't sleep on this guy. He is one of the best OL prospects in the Ivy league and could play on Sundays. Coach O mentioned that they had good talks with a couple of Grad transfer OL.

Kimo Makaneole- The fact that his name is Kimo might be his best attribute. This is more of a developmental player with potential.

Jordan Moko- Giant Australian. I have a hard time seeing someone brand new to football competing against these players that have been competing since pee wee league but the guy is intriguing. He is a monster of a man and hustles. Has NFL potential.

Defensive line: The word is we have a few DL already signed.

Foreman- All the recent chatter has him staying out West and that is probably correct but....Do you remember when Mason said they will be playing together? Knowing Mason would sign in December and Forement wanted to announce in Jan. Maybe is made sense for Foremen to throw a smokescreen out West. Just a theory.

Bryce Langston- Highly ranked SDE with grade issues. This could be one of the DL already signed, we shall see but it looks good for LSU.

Savion Jones- All indications are that he is all LSU and could very well already be signed. With recruiting, I always take the approach of, I will believe it when I see it.

Takes if they want in:

Raesjon Davis: I understand him wanting to wait to see what is going on with coaches at LSU first and I still feel it will be LSU. I don't think we can pass on a top 100 LB with coverage ability if he wants in.

Brian Thomas - I don't think we really need another WR there will plenty more to sign next year. However, he is local, has Marshall type ability and has the size that our WR corp will be missing next year.

Outside looking in:

These guys are on the radar and are good players that I don't think will make the cut.

Logan Diggs, Khari Gee and Jordin Gilbert.

Something of note: Coach O mentioned he would like to sign three or four OL. He also mentioned that had good talks with a couple of Grad transfer OL. Eric Wilson is one, but are there more we are not hearing about?

Good job. I agree with you on Jones and Langston. I think they're in. I think we'll take two offensive lineman from the group of four you listed, Thomas, and Diggs. We lose out on Foreman and Davis.

Assuming Langston and Jones are the ones signed already, im praying we land Kimo, Moko and leigh.
If not then 2-3 would be nice and finish with Davis, but that's looking shady at the moment also, either way we will miss on some guys we really wanted, but its whatever at this point

I know we will take at least two more OL. We could take three more depending on what happens with Thomas, Davis, Jones and Foreman. I'm pretty sure one of the OL will be a Grad transfer that can contribute right away. I don't think we would take both Kimo and Moko who are both projects. I would take Moko over Kimo but there is no indication that Moko has a favorite yet. Kimo has higher floor (less risk), Moko higher ceiling (more potential).

So we have 19 signed, 2 additional silent, which puts us at 21. We need at least 3 OL and leaves room for one additional.

I think with this early signing period now it's going to leave those who choose to wait until February possibly out on their first choice in some cases.

I thought about adding Roberts to this list, the OG you are referring to. I just saw that all the CB's were going to Bama. Who knows, maybe Bama won't have room for him and we get our shot.

I wouldn't assume three more OL, it might be two more.

very interesting development here. MY humble opinion only - If indeed S. Jones and B. Langston are signed but not announced then the remaining open scholarships are 4. If T. Leigh, R. Davis, and B. Thomas Jr commit - I think Coach O would take them and be very happy. - that leaves only 1 remaining spot that would go to the best available OL prospect (transfer or initial).

If any of Leigh, Davis, or Thomas are not interested in becoming LSU Tigers, then I think we will take best available OL prospects as determined by the staff. January and early February will be interesting. We have a great class that could become elite if the chips fall in line considering all of the negative issues that are in the news.

100% agree with SlidellTiger. Thomas and Davis will dictate how this class plays out. It we lose one of them, we will probably sign 4 OL in this class. If we lose both it could open the door for a Diggs, Gee or Gilbert.

I think that's correct. In any case he's not coming to LSU.
