I was really close to getting him, the reason why I didn't is that there is a couple of other corners that I liked, though not nearly as much. I figured that I'd try to finish the front seven out and hope Beaver would fall back to me.
That's how close I was...

Could of sworn he was already taken(rated top 200 on Scout and top 100 on ESPN), good job on double checking.

Man, you weren't kidding were you? haha. Looks like I snatched him up just in time.
I'll have my next pick up in a little bit. Still trying to make a final decision.

Thanks. I kept on checking the board to see if he was gone. I regretted not taking him last round because I was certain that there was no way he was getting back to me. ESPN had him ranked as the #1 ILB in the nation, so needless to say, I'm ecstatic that he fell so far down the board.

Just had to share that picture because it almost made me change my mind. I was all set on picking him, then once I saw his outie, I had second thoughts. In the end, I couldn't hold it against him and think he will be a fine addition to my defensive backfield.

GCB selects WR Courtney Gardner (Oklahoma)
6'3
215 pounds
Big, physical WR that was regarded as the second best JUCO WR in this class behind only Corradelle Patterson. He's going to play immediately and was convinced to swap his Arkansas commitment for an Oklahoma commitment after Sooner QB Landry Jones convinced him that he'd make sure he got enough passes thrown in his direction. He should be a huge instant impact guy.
Also, his film shows a guy that is just that much better than everyone else on the field. There was more than one instance of Gardner catching a ball on one side of the field only to end up out running the entire defense to the endzone on the other side of the field. That was against some decent JUCO talent, too. He still looks a little raw on the film I've seen of him, but he catches the ball with his hands well and can get open with some relative ease. It's my opinion, that with proper coaching, that Gardner could be one of the top five receivers in this draft.

This guy is curious to me. He was the highest rated safety remaining by far.....His 40 time is awful, which is why I didn't take him. I didn't see great film of him either. He must have great "game speed". He was pretty damn consistently highly rated though across all of the services, so I must have just seen some shitty film.

In the 12th round, Suntiger selects Cedrick "Jeremiah" Poutasi, OT from Utah.
Ht: 6'6"
Wt: 330 lbs
Poutasi would probably be one of the top offensive guards in the country, but will likely be a very good tackle for Utah. I'm a little drunk and he will be good. Great pick on my part if I say so myself.

Let's make a pact. Whoever gets really rich first pays for an all inclusive draft trip for everyone? Deal?
And if any of you frickers are holding out then

Had him on my board as a lower rated OT and very high rated guard. Didn't feel right picking him as a guard because he will be playing tackle at Utah. That is why he went there. He should be a great player.

I think it's a great pickup. USC really wanted him, but we stole him the night before LOI day. We are switching to a 3-4 defense under Justin Wilcox now and he is going to be an absolutely perfect fit as a DE in the new system. I remember seeing him on his visit at the UW game and he is a big dude. It wouldn't surprise me to see him play as a Freshman, especially with all new coaches on D who recruited him to fit the system. Also, Tosh Lupoi is his D-Line coach now and he developed quite a few studs on Cal's D-Line.

I am in as long as Verlander brings LSU/OUFan and Enfuego makes the trip.
Realistically, what we should definitely do is meet at the 2013 Signing Day Bash. We could even start the 2013 draft there. I know I could swing that. WHAT SAY YOU?

Definetly count me out. I am way to cool for that. Haha

I was looking at him as a potential DT in my system.
