Nice pick. Supposedly Urban loved his tape.

Thanks. Linebacker has been a particularly weak point for me in these drafts.

You think he'll play standing up? Looks great as a pass rusher, but he's a little slight.

i like what you did by adding your D-line & O-line first.

In real life, this would be the way to go.

I might of snatched a QB somewhere in between.

Believe me...I will be on that soon.

I agree with you. I just was taking the best available players knowing the depth at WR, etc.

The player pool at WR is so deep this year, it really doesn't hurt to wait.

I started making a big board around the 2nd round and two of the 5 WRs I wrote are still there. I got 2 of the others. And the last one was just taken this round.

Jamal Marcus, LB, Ohio State

And there goes my next pick. I was hoping he would last until my turn, but wasn't expecting it.

BigBoyTiger is the only person I would even think about switching O-Lines with at this point.

I have 3 guys so far that are huge, athletic, mean, and could all be 3-4 year starters at big schools.
LT- Freddie Tagaloa 6'8 315
LG-
C- Matt Cochran 6'4 340
RG-
RT- Taylor Decker 6'8 315

I thought Cochran was the best center available. He's got some tremendous film. He plays with a real mean streak and really has a knack for getting to the second level and wiping out linebackers.

It's just rare to see a true center in high school with that kind of size. He isn't just some big goof that happens to play center. Cochran would have been highly rated as a guard if he would have played there. I think I reached on him a little but I just had him rated so much higher than all the other centers.

If you reached, it wasn't by much. I had him pegged as one of my next two picks when he came off the board. Kudos to you for taking him when you did. I considered his film some of the best OL film (definitely the best center film) I've seen since we started doing these drafts.

You should post more.

I like your insights.

One of my favorite parts of this is that guys like GCB and mgd participate, because they clearly know their shite and put in the time, even if they don't post a ton.

I love it.

I think they are about to start going off the board pretty soon though. I had two I really wanted and one back up. I got one my guys and the back up, so I'm ok.

AJ! He was my back up for Dural.

Definitely glad I snagged him then. That's the hardest part about this draft. You have absolutely no clue what guys are on everybody else's radar. I've been pretty lucky so far with my guys falling to me, but that probably means I'm due for about 4 picks in a row where I have to scramble

Actually no. Angelo Jean-Louis.

I think he's a top 100 talent, but he does have eligibility issues.

I honestly have scarcely considered an LSU player. But there's one I have my eye on now.

I wanted Corey Thompson! I like V. Alexander and T. Dural. I think either Dural or A. Johnson will get some PT behind OBJ and J. Landry.

I like the LSU recruits, its just hard to know who will emerge out of all those LBers, whether Hawkins or Edinburough (sp?) will be the starting tackle in a few years, or if the CBs will see playing time with the depth their. Same for Hunter at DE. Besides the fact that I hate bama and won't take one of their players, thier depth is the same reason I'm shying away from their recruits.
