Maybe we should start doing 3-hour bumps at like noon, 3, 6, and 9? Starting Thursday or Friday. Don't think we should bump at all til tomorrow at least what with the holidays.

I don't know how we proceed with bumps and stuff but I am taking this serious and having fun from it. I don't want to run through it so quickly but damn let's get some movement.

It's not fun to be sitting at home with my wife and having to break away for a pick on a mock draft. This is what i do during work to make time go by faster.

PLease can we institutionalize some big boards where your next 10 picks are up and if you arent available your pick will come from that.

Suntiger selects Ken Ekanem, DE from Virginia Tech.

Ht: 6' 3"
Wt: 240
40: 4.65

Ekanem is a smart kid with offers from Duke, BC, Vandy and Notre Dame as well as offers from football schools. He had 147 tackles and 35 sacks over the last two years and played TE, scoring 4 TDs this past year. In short, he's got some wheels. Some people think he may switch to OLB, but I'll keep him at DE for my team. He tore a ligament and had surgery in December, but should be good to go in the fall if needed, but he should probably redshirt to rehab and add some bulk. I think Bud Foster will get the best out of him though and Ekanem will be the next great defensive player for the Hookies.

With my tenth round pick, GCB selects...

OLB/DE Leonard Floyd, Georgia

His frame and speed remind me a lot of Keke Mingo. He's from a smaller school and will probably need to redshirt, but he's too talented to pass up at this point in the draft. He's going to be a perfect fit as the other OLB in Grantham's 34 opposite JHC. Plus, he's got a 5* haircut.

That sound you guys are hearing is me masterbating to my draft so far. Very happy with how this is going.

And thanks to my boy Dan for tracking me down in Fort Lauderdale last week to get my picks!
