I trust in LSU's uncanny "farsightedness", ability to see potential years down the road if you will, and after reading the response about Elston, he may not be the right fit for LSU. There has to be some merit for LSU not offering so I will leave it at that. I don't see outright egotism with Edwards or Howard. I basically see two atheletes struggling to make the best decision for them. I respect the fact that they didn't limelight and showcase their intentions at any of the All-American games. To me (on a personal level), this shows a degree of class, humbleness, and forethought. Those are the kind of players I enjoy watching LSU sign. The same could be said about Phillips. As far as Hill? Toss up for me. His legal issues point more toward a character flaw than a "bad decision." I would hate to hear of another counterfeiting scheme or bar fight down the road with one of our major prospects.
