Recruiting: Don't Go Counting Those Chickens before they Hatch!

Just a few weeks ago everyone was praising our future recruiting class, praising being ranked #1, and even going so far as to place them on a mock roster depth chart. I made a post that it was way to early for all that, and wait until they sign a LOI. I got criticized by many of those same posters. Again these are teenagers that until they sign a LOI; nothing is guaranteed. It's a long time until December's early signing period, as is the Spring 2020 signing date. So take a Chill Pill guys.

It's also way too early to start boasting that you're some prophet on recruiting. People are going to be excited about these things, it's ok, what's not ok is to start freaking out about losing players who're enjoying the recruiting process.
We will have another top 5 class this year. Who gives a damn if it's number 1 or not? It's been proven time and time again that you don't need to have the number one class to win it all.

Why don't we all just enjoy the great recruiting class we just got, instead of worrying, complaining and hyping up the next one that's still months away. Any time a guy decommits, some people here seem to have a nervous breakdown and panic attack. Sheesh!

What is the actual purpose of this thread? I mean, constructively speaking, what are you trying to accomplish here? If you have already said this, then why say it again? It won't change anything because people, especially football people that could care less about Basketball or Baseball, have nothing much to talk about or to speculate on at this time of year. So they use what information they do have to make these future depth charts just for the entertainment of it. People won't stop doing this.

And gratuitous misuse of commas. He needs to take out the LSUgrad part of his name so that people don’t get the wrong ideas about LSU’s academics.

I would add to your comment that bashing a kid at this point is counterproductive. It’s okay for someone to get upset, but they can save the comments directed at a potential recruit until after signing day or if it is much closer, at least.
