Gore is a change of pace back, along with Magee. Turner is a WR or CB

I don't think Magee is a change of pace. After watching him I think he's big enough to be an every down back if we choose to play him there. But Magee could play so many positions I don't think putting him at rb automatically is a slam dunk.

I hope we keep all three because they will find some kind of a role and help us win, but I actually like Magee more than most and believe he will be a better RB than most people realize.

Yeah he really impressed me against OP Walker. But he is so versatile who knows where he winds up. He's quick enough to play a lot of positions and big enough as well.

Ok I agree with that I misunderstood your original post.

No problem, I've been following recruiting a lot longer than most. This happens every year. Many worry too much. Les has done well and is doing very good this year. I would sit back and enjoy. Gonna be a great year in recruiting. Enjoy it folks.

Let's just let Hilliard de-commit while we are at as well Lester. I mean we are deep, no reason to keep him on board either. I don't even know why they committed to LSU in the first place

Go troll somewhere else

And again Lester you're acting like they're all the same players with the same tools and will have the same production and will all end up playing running back.

as it stands now, all will play RB.

obviously the more we stockpile, the more likely some move positions.

as far as tools, there are only so many things a RB. ANd there is only ONE BALL!

All these guys are talented and studly in their own way. Im sorry, but one guy doesn't make a class. Especially at the deepest position on the team.

Basically just a flood of terrible assumptions on your part to try to shrug this one off like this doesn't affect you.

Are you saying that we are insanely deep at RB is a terrible assumption?

That's not an assumption at all, actually. It's an absolutely fact.

Was never impressed that much with Blue, as he got quickly passed up by Ford and Ware. Blue needs a position change.

Have you seen all those other running backs play in college? Do you know how Gore and the freshmen are going to fare? Please enlighten us into your insight.

Is Gore or Turner ever going to be getting Ridley type carries for us? Especially considering we might have a guy like Mett playing quarterback for us? Never. And I didn't see much from Blue to think he's going to be a great back for us, but he's young. Tall enough to play receiver easily.

And it's not the assumption that we have depth there but the assumption that they're all the same.

I wish he would as well.
I just hope Jeremy doesn't read these boards and get the feeling that we don't want him. I hope he does what is best for him. But I would love if he signed with LSU on signing day.

Aggie: I don't think Collins is going anywhere but LSU. If Hill signs with another school, I don't think it will affect Collins.

Something about him reminds me of Early Doucet, may just be me.

Yeah, I don't get why people are crowing so hard on this.

I mean, it always sucks to lose a talented guy, but if there's one position we can afford it... it's RB... particularly in the state of Louisiana that churns out quality college backs like it's nothing.

There's just a ton of Hill fans on here (and rightfully so, he's a good player), but I just don't see why people say he's better than Hilliard or top 100 worthy etc. etc.

I'd like to keep him too, he was my favorite RB in this class thus far.

But it's not a huge loss considering the numbers and talent we have at this position.

How you and immature must you be to see that as "trolling"? Anyone can answer that.

Like others, I have been following recruiting and college football for a long time, and understand the dynamics of numbers, and talent, and the fact that there is only one ball.

We had a huge haul at RB last year, and even this year have some options there. If Ridley was graduating and we had 2 scholarship RB's, Id say we have a problem. But that simply isn't the case.

Did you really feel the need to save Lester there? Really?
