Eh..I think people look at how McKnight went about things and how quiet he was..how he led LSU on and whatever you want to say about him..

THen they look at Randle and see that he isn't talking much and automatically assume it's the same thing.

I am sure you could list 60 that have failed miserably.

That's right. But what's so great about Alabama? I think if he goes there, Saban will have sold him a bill of goods. If he's going to leave the state, see the world, why not go to USC, freakin' Hawaii for that matter ... if he wants a great academic school, Stanford or Harvard or Vandy. I just don't see what Alabama has to offer, other than Saban's self-promoting, self-aggrandizing BS, blathering on about "loyalty" when he's shown none his entire coaching career.

Even if he decides to go there, what does it really mean? Does the fact that Patrick Peterson chose LSU over Florida mean that Florida can't recruit anymore? Does the fact that Russell Sheppard chose LSU over Texas mean that Texas won't get great players?

Did Jamarcus Russell's decision to come to LSU hurt Auburn and Bama? Explain to me how losing your #1 prospect to an SEC rival does not hurt your program.

how does it when you're loaded at WR already?

Because you have to play against that top prospect every year

RR is probably the best player from LA since Peyton Manning. We have very good WR's, but we don't have any like RR.

Florida has way too many athletes plus legitimate in state schools, they have enough to worry about.

if randle goes to bama, it will affect our recruiting, ole' nicky is setting up that pipeline.

pipelines = myth.

We had a pretty good thread about that awhile back. Most people came down on that side.

I stand by Miles being a better recruiter.

And I can prove it. With facts and scientific data.

Really?

Why has every big time WM recruit except Luther Davis go to LSU? Why did no big time Evangel recruits go to LSU for a long time after the Booty fiasco?

My case.

I'm not saying you're wrong. And let me say I think/know Saban is a hell of a recruiter. I'm not disputing that. I'll just debate this fact with anyone. Miles is better.

Why are you shaking your head? Berlin was the NPOY. Where is he now? Collecting bank in the NFL.

So he had a great high school career. What did he do after high school that was so great? IMO, NPOY is just a popularity contest much like the Heisman. He had a disappointing college career and he's now a backup QB with the Rams. I can think of a $hit load of LA players that had/have better football careers than Brock Berlin (players that were actually drafted and actually playing).
