Merely an observation. The LSU fans' hatred of Alabama is entertaining.

With Sam Bradford likely declaring for the draft, I think that helps our chances with RR, obviously..

An NFL "insider" on "Inside The NFL" this week stated that he has been hearing that it is a virtual certainty that Bradford will be coming out this year, because he is pretty much a$$ured the number one pick in the draft to Detroit if he does.

Oh hell yeah, that's the job I want if I'm the best QB in the land, The Detroit Lions. Please; He's on a better team than the Lions right now. If anything, Detroit having the first pick may keep him from declaring for the draft.

Who is going to be the QB at Alabama next year? And is he any good?

It'll either be Greg McElroy or Star Jackson. McElroy was quaterback at Chase Daniels Highschool in Texas, broke all of Chase's records. Played some this year for us and looked very good, is said to be very bright, know the offense well, and be very accurate, but not have a super strong arm. However he threw a beautiful 40 yard TD pass to Maze in the Auburn Game. Better in the pocket than JPW. He will be a Junior.

Star Jackson was redshirted this year, was a 4 star in the 2008 class, has a strong arm and is accurate, and runs around a 4.5, definitely a pocket passer, not the scrambling type. But can easily sprint for first downs when the opportunity arises. Think Donevan McNabb, not Pat White or your RS. They've raved about him in practice, and everyone says it'll be a tight battle between him and Greg McElroy in the Spring.

you really believe that??? Millions of dollars would be more convincing then what freakin team i play on. Not to mention the possibility of hurting my stock coming back with no returning recievers and a possible injury.

Just so you know, Jarrett Lee was a record setting QB in Texas as well. Jarrett is fine young man and may still prove a fine QB, but I'm just saying...

No, I don't believe it...he will come out, but I do think Detroit is the football graveyard, unless your Barry Sanders, and even he had kind of an unsatisfying final legacy.

True... but a shockingly high percentage of them do.

I'm not saying he won't, I was just answering a question about who Bama's QB will be and if he'll be any good. Just letting you know what I know. Relax man.

End that sh*t right now. Stop the flood of rant-like conversation to this board. Don't support or propogate it.

I know you're new to the Nick Saban regeim so I'll help you out. Be prepared for QB frustration under Saban.

Seriously,
Booty over Rohan,
Randall over JR/Flynn,

I think the only one he ever got right was Mauck over Randall which is a gimme.

With a rookie salary cap looming, passing on the draft could cost him tens of millions. bradford knows that.
