For as much love as mcelwain gets as a qb guru he actually made treon worse this year. And that's hard to do.

I honestly think Franks is making a bad decision. He could come here and challenge for our starting qb spot from day 1.

I don't think playing time is his main factor. Like previous poster said, look at the qb developments under Miles and McElwain. Mett was our only qb to even go to the nfl since Flynn and actually have a chance to play.

Maybe so but that only brings up the question of why can't LSU seem to get any decent quarterbacks in the program.
I don't even think I know the answer to that. Just following the logical train of thought.
