The only reason we are stating it is because you keep using the "only 49% of the athletes get to live in these dorms, so where do the other 51% go"
And you are misreading the rule. 100% of the athletes could live in those dorms. Obviously they all don't because there are better places off campus.
Again. Let me spell it out. No more than 49% of the dorm CAPACITY can be athletes. Which means if there are 100 rooms but there are only 49 athletes, 100% of the athletes could live in those dorms while still following the rule you keep quoting.
Honestly the argument is irrelevant. It's just us trying to correct you and how you keep misinterpreting the rule
Either way! The dorms aren't that great. It wouldn't be a recruiting advantage. The apartments surrounding campus though are top
Notch and those might be attractive to recruits but I would assume other colleges have similar apartment complex with resort style pools and such.

Because these are the only dorms I'm talking about. I mean, what is the title of the thread.

Agreed, since it has nothing to do with the OP.

When viewed from the perspective of what's available off-campus, yes. But when you view them from the perspective of what other schools in the SEC and around the country offer their athletes, suddenly they look very nice indeed.
