After signing West Monroe's Dillon Day, the Mississippi State coaching staff is looking for his signing to help them in recruiting future West Monroe Rebel players.

This weekend is Junior Day at Mississippi State and 3 West Monroe juniors are visiting. Just curious what you guys know and/or can say about these guys.

DT- Chuck Hunter
QB/Ath- Paul Turner
RB/ATH- Tyler Cain

ETA: Tyler Cain

Teshadi is doing ok... He will be going to River Oaks after this year due to the age limit.

Anybody know anything about this kid? I read he rushed for over 1,200 yds last season for West Monroe. How big is he? I cant find much on him.

Any kid at West Monroe that we want is ours to lose.Every other school will only be able to pick up the guys that we don't want. That could some good players but if we want Hunter then we get Hunter.Turner as well but i have a feeling that he will be left out.

I think that is What Coach Dan Mullen and his staff is working on, trying to get the top Louisiana players that dont get an LSU offer.

We got Montrell Connor last year, Dillon Day this year, and hopefully we can pick up a couple of Louisiana players for the c/o 2011

Good strategy by Mullen. No coaching staff is infallible, and mistakes will be made. Every once and awhile we will let a few good ones get away. Mullen is a great coach, and will do well for MSU in the future. He has a good strategy. We try to do the same thing with many players from Texas who arent taken by UT, and it does wonders for us

Turner-Electric playmaker. The first highlight in the all red is the only time the entire year he was healthy. The 2nd week against Neville he severely hurt his ankle and never was the same the rest of the year. Still very impressive. Junior highlights

Cain-Small for the SEC imo. Dexter McCluster's size, but not as fast. Started at receiver his sophomore year, was moved to rb last year. Great hands, he's #15 in Turner's highlights. Junior year

Hunter-Extremely strong DT that absolutely blows up the middle of the line. Not sure of the exact numbers, but rivaled Jordan Allen for tackles/sacks last year. If he didn't I would be shocked after watching them live. Best chance of the 3 to go to LSU. Watch how he snuffs out the screens and then runs down the back. Junior year

I don't think Cain has a chance for LSU, Turner would be a late take probably. Sucks because Turner is ridiculous. Hopefully they can show out at LSU's camp and get an offer.

ETA: The play at 4 minutes on Hunter's film was 4th and inches. He completely blew up the play and stopped Rummel short.

Not saying he's not a beast because Hunter is one of my favorites in this class, but we didn't block him on the 4th and inches QB sneak. We just didn't block him due to a severe fricking snafu brainfart.

That being said, outside of Anthony Johnson, Hunter is my favorite.
