I was watching the South Carolina/Georgia game and he was playing lights out. Anyway, I looked him up and realized he was from LA. He had offers from some big time SEC schools, but nothing from LSU. (Signed with SC) Anyone have any background info on his recruitment?

He's from South Carolina, spent 1 year in Louisiana, senior year of high school

That’s the year that we landed Kelvin Joseph and missed on Surtain right? That class is looking pretty rough now outside of the stud WRs. I guess it had Chasen Hines, Dare Rosenthal, Damien Lewis and 2 good LBs.
Also had our biggest recruit ever in it.

His Dad is Air Force and they got transferred to Barksdale in Bossier. He went to Parkway with Marshall for his Senior year. He was expected to sign with Florida State but somehow ended up at SCe. Guessing it had to do with the disaster of a season they had in Tallahassee. Anyways, we didn’t really have a shot with him that late in the game and considering the other DB’s in the class.

Let's be honest LSU didn't recruit the kid, they were going all out for Marshall and Rodgers they overlooked him.
