Red River Parish Alternative School
There is no such thing. Red River parish closed down every school and built "Red River" in coushatta. Its a new complex.

I looked it up and it appears to be a correctional school like all every Parish has for kids who need...correcting.

Dude, I am 110% sure its not a correctional school. Red River Parish doesnt even have one. If they did, they wouldnt field a football team and play in 2-A

Ok, Max Emfinger, rivals and scout.com. Point taken, I will shut the frick up about the guy, from now on, its only talk of Randle and Davenport on here. Thanks guys for the informative conversation.

I'm not trying to be a dick. Just Dandy Don mentioning him doesn't mean he has LSU potential.
Dandy lists lots of kids.
If the kid shows well at camps, has grades and has a great senior season he will get the attention and offers he warrents.

Don't forget Shepp dammit!

Shep, forgot about him.
I just like hearing about the guys that not alot of people talk about. I was just trying to spread the word to die hard fans. I just like watching good, hard nosed football. I work in south louisiana but dont drive down to see talent, so if yall hear or know of someone that is good but isnt as well known as say Joe McKnight was last year. I like to atleast hear about.

here's what I've found: Red River Parish Alternative School
1635 Ringgold Avenue
Coushatta, LA
71019 Mailing Address:
Red River Parish Alternative School
P O Box 526
Coushatta, LA
71019
Phone Number:
(318) 932-4655
Looks like it does exist. He can go to school there and under certain circumstances still play football at Red River High School. Now, I do not know if thats the case, but it would definitely explain why no one wants to touch him just yet. How well do you know the kid and his situation?

Very well, thats the address of THE high school for Red River, but I am not going to argue with it, if you want he could have stab a janitor in the eye with a # 2 pencil and is only able to get out of his cell to play football. Sound about right?
Posted on 7/16/08 at 3:06 pm to RoyBoy2323
Sounds like they have an alternative school/program inside of the regular school. Would make sense in a parish with a single consolidated high school. The kids in the alternative program can use the infrastructure and extra curricular activities of the "regular" high school.
That is how it sounds at least.

People, listen to the words that are being typed onto this screen. His parents are wonderful people, he is a great student. There Coach sings there praises all the time about how there class acts on and off the field. Logan is NOT in the alter school. I repeat he is NOT in the alter school.
Posted on 7/16/08 at 3:11 pm to RoyBoy2323
Ease up a little I'm not attacking you, actually I'm backing you up if you think hard about it...Just playing Devils Advocate of why he might not be so high on lists despite athleticism. It's not unusual for behavioral issues to trump abilities, I played with 4 guys that are currently in the NFL and can think of 4 more that were much better but didn't make it due to grades and/or behavioral issues.

Ok, got ya. I must not have seen that info earlier. I just saw thats how it is listed on scout and became Sherlock Holmes for a brief moment

I know that happens alot. I dont want Logan to get a bad name is all. He is the total opposite of what most people think of players like that.

1. I never said he was in the alternative school, I just speculated as too how the alternative school and the "regular" school could have the same address.
2. I thought you said-

I am not biased at all. I am from a town the same amount of miles from both Coushatta and Mansfield. I dont know anyone on any of there staff or players.
Sounds like you are biased a bit.

Cash went to trailer and still got to play in HS, trust me he knows.

I'm still shocked the short bus went all the way to Waterloo.

If you read the Shreveport times or pay attention to the minden press herald or watch KTBS friday football fever, you can obtain the same info as me. With that being said, if it really came down to it. My best friend is a LB coach at mansfield, so if i was going to be biased it would be towards CD not BL
