Very formidable defense

If they can gel and the secondary doesn’t have breakdowns it could be a solid one. Worried about LB depth though.

On paper, defense looks strong. Just hope those transfer guys are as good as advertised. They all need to learn to play together quickly

Safety still scares me.

I think they will be decent but it's not dbu elite quality.

They won’t have to be to be better than the last two seasons.

Looked at both articles and I really really like the projected starters.

Should have a solid offensive line next year and great reserves.

Defense looks great for the starters but not a whole lot of depth.

It's the building blocks of a great team. I'm excited as hell to see what happens next year.

Really looking forward to Jenkins having an outstanding year.

Went from a 2 deep that looked laughably bad to a 2 deep that could be one of the best in the SEC. I like what we have. The entire 2 deep on defense looks very good.

LSU still has 2 very highly rated S on the roster behind those guys and you could possibly count Sage in there too. I doubt Sage is kept off the field. He should be in a nickel role but they might slip him to S to get him on the field or in dime situations.

Roy, Smith, Guillory

As recruits, this board couldn't wait for these 3 to start together. There was so much hype surrounding them.

I hope they ball out like many here expected them too

Harris will be the first player to retire in college.

I think they need to try sage at one of the safety spots. What 2 highly rated guys?
1 is derrick davis jr but he didn't see the field.

Toles hasn't done a thing and has looked like a liability.

At safety you only have ward and burns that are proven players. That is thin. Ward was bad in the run game.
