Let's have a little guessing game here. What do you think the top 10 will look like at Rivals on NSD?

I think it'll be:

1. USC
2. Ohio State
3. LSU
4. Texas
5. Alabama
6. Miami
7. Georgia
8. Florida
9. Florida State
10. Oklahoma

Any other guessers?

Depending on who else Ohio State signs (they can't have much room left) and who LSU/Alabama/Texas finish with I could see any one of those three teams end up #2.

USC probably has #1 wrapped up though.

lsu could move to number 2.ohio st is max out with 25 commits.expect florida to move into the top 8.alabama is solid at 6 and it wouldnt matter if they moved up because 6 is great after last year.usc always does better in recruiting but they just cant get it together on the field.

I would say that list looks accurate. I can't see anyone overtaking USC at No. 1. If we finish strong, we could get to No. 2, but I think we will finish either 3rd of 4th. Depending on what happens with Bama, I think they could get as high as No. 5.

I am starting to wish we left a little room last year so we could sign more this year, but oh well. I will settle any day for a top 5 class.

I'd be surprised if OSU could stay at #2 ahead of LSU but I guess the bottom could absolutely fall out.

It LSU pulls Mcfarland or Campbell, Randle, Loston and a few other big names, we got to #1.

I see Bama at about 5-7 unless Rivals decides to move them to #1.

Oops, I meant Texas at #2 and Ohio State at #4. Although with 25 recruits for OSU already, I could see Alabama moving ahead of Ohio State for the #4 position if the rest of the recruiting season goes well for Bama. Dre Kirkpatrick, Kendall Kelly, and Tana Patrick will help (assuming we get all 3), and I think 'Bama will pull off at least one unexpected big name. I think 'Bama will be anywhere between 4-6.

1. USC
2. Texas
3. LSU
4/5. Ohio State/Alabama

Ohio St. has 28-29 schollies to give. They think they have Jamaal Berry too, he is a five star. Not sure if he is listed as a commit yet. But theirs is based on sheer quantity, not quality.

I've heard only 2 or 3 from one of their posters on another site

Also was quoted that this class is pretty much wrapped up except for McFarland and the potential for a couple of others like Loston

Wouldn't matter. When it comes to reporting, it would be like this year. How many of Bama's top class didn't make it to class in '08? think your class was donwgraded to tenth.

Two things, Berry is a 4 star and he's already an OSU verbal so he can't boost them any higher. I could see OSU maybe signing 27.

LSU is going to lose some guys that were taken for granted, b/c of your DCs excellent team management.

Going .500 last regular season doesn't seem to be hurting Bama too much. We will be fine zippy.

Texas will definitely not pass USC with them have a star average of 4.25 and assuming that they are looking to sign close to a full class since they only signed 19 last year.

Bama will not be #3 homer, Saban won't be able to sign 32 towards this class

LSU has 3.89 star average as of now and has a good shot of finishing with a 4.00+ star average this year.

BTW: Your beloved Bama only finished with a 3.72 star average last year and that's before losing a few key players to grades, MLB, etc.
