and the idea that a bad season will change his mind is off base as well. recruits gave us a pass for last year mentioning the young QB play, same will happen for Auburn with new coaches.

The difference would be if we have a really good season, which we are capable of. 8-4 wouldn't bring any recruiting excitement, but 10-2 would.

I agree. Long way from NSD. He also said Lache and Dyer are committing together to Auburn...which mean Reed might be soon to follow.

I call bullshite, just bc of what you said about Reed.

Trooper the clown?

Yeah, he only made strides at every position he coached at UT. Coached that clown Meachum into a first round WR. I think OKState has some kid named Dez Bryant or something, he's supposed to be pretty good. I've seen several UT fans say very good things about his coaching ability...ie:

Just about any college coach in America could make Dez Bryant an All-American.

He has freakish ability.

BTW, check them Rivals coach Power Rankings:

:waivingwhiteflag:
If only they didnt have to play the game and we could just roll with your "rival rankings"..... ask around about what Ohio st. players said after facing our OC in the BCS championship game. If failure is what your great coaching staff is selling..... AU should hit it out the park next season.

Thanks, your credibility as an LSU homer is undeniable. Any other crystal ball predictions you're pulling out of your arse?

No, I wasn't.

I was happy when a Big 12 coach with a terrible record was able to assemble a staff that in ability is competitive with the top teams nationally. For all the jokes about Chizik he is held in very high regard by quite a few college coaches...which to me says something. Mack Brown told Tommy Thigpen he'd be stupid not to leave UNC for Auburn...and Thigpen is a former UNC player, left Butch Davis for Chizik. Luper (the guy behind all the recruiting stuff you guys are scratching your heads over) also left his alma-mater and had glowing comments about Chizik (who he called his "mentor"). What happens on the field has yet to be determined, but the reason why Chizik was hired has become blatant...he has a plan, and that plan has yet to falter in any way.

TE/ST coach has experience as RB coach...recruited Michael Turner at Northern Illinois.

When you are bragging about your TE/ST's coach and what he accomplished at Northern Illinois you know you have a shitty football team

lache is an amazing athelete, but it is not the end of the world if he does not come to LSU..Storm will sign with us this class and then Kenny Hilliard will sign the following year,,we are set up fine at running back..

Neither of those are Lache quality. Hilliard looks a little overrated to me at this point, but it's very very early on him.

Actually, I've never seen more stupidity in recruiting than I have in these "hotboards" among the AU recruiting analysts and fans.

How ruined though would Auburn fans be if all 3 decommited (Dyer to Ark, Reed and Seastrunk to LSU) after they see how bad Auburn is this year?
