I hope Freeze does just enough to save his job another couple of years. He’ll need a few portal pickups to do that, and that’s better for LSU than if they go to Bama, aTm, OU, and UT.

I just don't think Auburn and Ole Miss are schools to worry about. Kiffin had the pest portal class last year and did what he usually does. Auburn will always struggle because of Bama. Does that mean BK doesn't need to step up his game? No, he absolutely does. Just not worried about Rebs and Auburn.

#6 and we're #7. I love our class ha. Lost the qb, added elite ot, lost cb, added former top 5 cb who will be 21 this season.
Go check their in state recruiting. They almost swept state of Alabama... and I bet over long run that's gonna have more success then the national recruting bama is having to do for their kids. Kids likely stay at a school more if there's an extra tie to it like being from that state, if there is something keeping a kid loyal these days.
I also call it insane because their last 5 years have been horrible, and throwing together a class like that is impressive.

One of those ole Mrs portal predictions was Oatis, who’s from MS, and he has flipped to Colorado.
