Just go with whatever makes you feel at ease the minute you walk in. Your first instinct is usually right.. I certainly have no regrets. And try to meet as many people going through with you as you can.. those will be the people you'll be around moreso than the guys already in there.

Yeah, it was a combination of the two factors I just listed that made my decision easy. I was immediately settled into my comfort zone the first time I walked in the house.. I also knew a lot of the older guys already from the summer parties.. and a few people I knew, including a couple good friends from HS, ended up taking bids. It was an easy decision for me in the end.
