Is this what you think of as showing equal love to both home grown talent and imports?

Why would Les show equal love to less talented "home grown" talent and more talented "imports"?

They are not equal. One is more talented, and if the "imports" show legitiamate interest in LSU, I believe that the "imports" should receive much more love from Les than the less talented "home grown" talent.

nobody wants to be somebody's second fiddle. A lot of these kids have a little dignity and class, neither are they stupid. They're going to honor the folks that showed interest in them from the beginning and made the offer ... These kids know when they're the last resort and they know when they're being played.

well its a g.d. shame Mike Davis didn't feel the way you think all of the Louisiana kids do.

As soon as Texas offered he jumped ship and landed right in with Mack (I play every Texas kid cool) Brown.

You win some and lose some. Level headed people understand this. Level headed people don't wet the bed when they get more than expected and they don't stomp their feet and rant and rave when they get less than might have been expected.

A lot of people on here now could use a dose of Jimmie Davis cause Sunshine ain't a bad thing!

There are high risks/gains that come with recruiting highly sought after players whether they are local or oos. Everyone is going to want them and usually you have to give them more attention.

It is a probability game but one that you want to play if you are desirous of being in the National and SEC contention on a yearly basis.

True, but it you burn your home bridges before you, then when Mr. Highly Recruited Athlete jumps ship and decommits or never commits and you've been sort of ignoring the home base (playing cool as the title of this thread says), then when you come back hat in hand, it's kind of a given that some of the locals will by then, have found another place to take their talent. And many have, and many will.
