Ole Miss is smart, using the fact that these kids have to play another week, all their teammates are hyped about the chance to win it all, there has to be tremendous pressure on them to re-sign right now.

No it wasnt just Lane. It was because Lane and the entire freaking offensive Ole Miss staff left as well. And yes usually when that happens a lot of players will follow their coaches to the other team. But of course with LSU it doesn’t happen. If LSU had lost their head coach and entire offensive staff to another team, I guarantee you over 80% of our offensive players would be gone and most following the coaches wherever.
