Out of State Five Stars

My opinion, but LSU would be better served avoiding out of state ( non Louisiana) FIVE star recruits. Rather than getting out bid right before signing day, concentrate on national four star & Louisiana five star recruits and hope for a home state discount.

That simple eh? Sounds like a plan
PS - you don't think 4 stars will be offered $ by other schools?

I mean, its a thing. Lots of kids want to stay in state and play for LSU. It's not like you can offer 50% less, but these are 17 year olds making irrational decisions.
Do you know how many people in LA could make 2x more by moving to another state...yet they stay...

Don't get into bidding wars for out of state five stars because its a waste of time. We will lose most bidding wars. Save that money & time while concentrating on four star recruits, which is where we can use our limited resources & compete with other schools.

We need to have a five star "in the aggregate". I'm quoting from moneyball.
