And you can bet on new commitments to replace those that decomit. One thing about O he doesn’t sit around and melt over a decomitment. He’s got a backup plan and goes after the next best available player. It all fluid at this point but at the end of the day this class will be stacked and ranked in the top three at every site! Except for ESPNU lol

No, it doesn't. A recruit committing to you makes a recruit much more likely to sign with you. Historically, allot of recruits commit to one school and stick to that commitment. That isn't to say they won't de-commit but to pretend it means nothing is overwhelmingly ahistorical.
I'm not talking about ALL commits. What you said is true when you lump in in-state commits and commits from "our" territories - Texas, Florida, etc. I'm talking about commits from out-of-territory states/schools (perhaps I should have clarified that). We don't normally get recruits from D.C. and Virginia - if and when we do, they don't stay committed.

As long as Coach O keeps winning (getting past Texas in week 2 will go a long way) and Woodward fulfills his promise of providing coaches with the right resources - I don't think we will have an issue of losing out of state commitments.
It does make me a little uneasy getting all of them to commit this early, though.

I could have sworn when Sampah was added we were at 260 with an average of 94.3
Now we’re at 256.8 and an average of 93.84.
Did I dream that or did the numbers fall over night?
I’m pretty good remembering numbers.
Just read 247 is doing a round of updates today.
Of course they are
They almost put Alabama back ahead of us. What a fricking joke.
