Listening to the On3 Signing Day livestream. Chad Simmons on there said he recently spoke to DJ Pickett (#1 safety in 2025) and he said DJ was very impressed with his visit to LSU. Simmons said he expects DJ to end up at LSU, but likely won't commit for awhile to take all of his visits. 2025 is gonna be an all-timer.

It’ll be another one of those “FSU just felt like home to me” at the last minute kinda recruits after Shea has felt great about LSUs chances the whole week prior.

Stop being in a sour mood bc we didn't flip Bussey. This guy loved his visit, he clicks with Raymond (some might say he loves him), he sees the class we're bringing in for 2025, & he KNOWS WE NEED HIM (I think this is what he likes the most).
Get on board with the 2025 class. Trust me...everyone else is bc we don't have any chicken littles predicting a non-top 10 class right now. They would normally be beating this drum hard right now to prepare for their usual summer time melt.

I’m not really worried about Bussey. I knew it was going to be tough to flip him.
I just figured I’d pick a little. I know LSU still ended up with a great top 4 class this year and looking to be a historic class next year. Honestly I do think Kelly reels Pickett in as well

This class is feeling a lot like "The Fam" in 11 with La'el Collins, Jarvis, OBJ, Trai Turner, Jalen Collins, Mett, Freak Johnson, Kenny Hilliard, Micah Eugene, all super productive in both college and the pro's.
This class has that same closeness, with a couple vocal leaders out front recruiting for the State, except this class has a real chance to be even more productive than even that one was.
