Yes there are. Not quite as rich as Graves but billionaires. I know several personally. And you can’t go by any list you google, because they don’t know.

For example, do you know who Tracy Krohn is? He moved out of Louisiana, but he used to be a billionaire Louisiana resident, and hardly anyone knew who he was. Another current one is Jim Bernhard. Both Flores and Rucks, of the eponymous oil company, were LSU alumns.

I could name six dozen Louisiana residents, at least half of whom are probably LSU grads, who are worth north of $50 million. And that’s just folks I know of.
