Hardly a troll…rarely even post. Just illustrating how easy it is to drive whatever narrative suits you. It’s obvious we are in a sky is falling season and folks are doubling down…staff sucks, NIL this and NIL that, LA is getting pillaged, etc. I’m just happy we have a competent staff in place now to navigate things in today’s game. Maybe we’re changing the culture, maybe we’re learning how to recruit and manage an entire roster, maybe we are setting the stage for a better on field product, maybe we know how to use the portal, maybe there is a plan for how to best utilize limited NIL resources, maybe it’s not all bad.

your original post had nothing to do with being able to outbid us. You simply said he wasn't good enough and that we are hoping to develop him instead of paying for a good player. All we did was inform you that he is, in fact, a really good player and a borderline 5 star on other recruiting sites. The only person acting like a child is you every time someone has a different opinion than you. You get super insecure and defensive even if your statement was a load of bs. Also have no idea what the definition of a troll is.

How is that a hot take? We are paying for a good player that we can develop so that he hits his ceiling. That isn’t flaming or trolling. And the more you reply to my posts the farther you get away from the actual topic of celebrating this kid’s commitment

How else are those lines supposed to come off then? You think he's not worth another school spending a bunch of money on him. You literally said it. Framing your so called "celebration of the commitment" is what got people calling you out for.

It's not "awesome get." "great recruiting win" no it's "well OSU must not have wanted to get him since they didn't pay, maybe he develops" lol

I guess the discrepancy between 247’s composite rating and On3’s ratings really got you up in arms..

Ohio State has a current top-5 class with numerous other blue chip/top-100 rated players (including D linemen) they are targeting. Maybe Reed wasn’t as coveted to them as LSU..? Maybe their board had him outside the top 200 and LSU has him rated as a 5-star.

It’s a matter of opinion on how you see him panning out. It’s obvious you think he’s a Bonafide 5 star player who’s a day one starter. I don’t believe that. I think he’s got a ton of talent that needs development. Maybe (just maybe) OSU didn’t want spend that much on Reed and reallocate funds for a higher ranked player on their board

Why is that considered a flame? Honestly? You can be excited about landing a recruit and be grounded at the same time
