I think some of you are grossly over exaggerating the comparisons. Rivals has been doing this for years.
No one is saying he is CJ which is a once in a lifetime type of player but compared to his peers he can play at that level versus them now.
Of he doesn't continue developing then the comparison will be shot but as of now skill sets and talent eval wise the kid has potential to be a star.
I think so many of us LSU fans are so afraid of rejection or disappointment that we try to rationalize everything. We need to stop having the baby brother mind sets. For real. Start believing. It can happen To us just like the next guy.
Guess what somebody has to be the next Calvin Johnson and I bet you I can find 3 safeties equal to or better than Ronnie.
