My brother lives in Huntsville Al (A tiger grad)
Is telling me Huntville Times has listed Recruits and has Randle as a "Probable" I could not find this. Can anyone provide a link? Not that I believe their info but love to watch how crazy those folks are over in AL.

"Probable" to where? Bama or LSU?

If I am not mistaken, the recruiting process is supposed to allow the student/athlete to make a decision that will put him in a university that provides an environment conducive for academic and athletic success. By choosing the best university, the recruit sets himself and his family in a position that they feel will produce the most successful outcome, right? Ultimately this outcome is the NFL which is a distinct possibility for the highly ranked recruits.
With this in mind, when choosing between LSU and Alabama, LSU seems like the best choice for Rueben Randle in my opinion. By comparing the production of the graduates in the last decade, LSU has had an athlete go in the first round in each of the last five years (not to mention the numerous first and second day athletes). I am not completely sure, but I believe that Alabama has not had a first rounder in quite a few years.
In addition, LSU is superior to Alabama academically (I do not know the rankings but I know that my friends that didn't get into LSU went to Alabama). Academics and athletics combined, I feel that Rueben Randle is only setting himself up for major success if he chooses LSU. Obviously comfort has much to do with the process, but if I were Randle I would be very comfortable with the idea of getting a great degree as well as heaps of money for getting drafted on the first day (which I think we all agree he will develop into a high caliber collegiate athlete).
Sorry for the length, but this has been on my mind lately, and I think that the Randle family knows these things as well. Regardless of what Saban can "promise" to provide for them, Les Miles has prove to him the excellent production of his graduates. Ultimately, I think Randle chooses LSU because it is truly in his best interest.

I just saw a story on rivals that rueben narrowed his list to 3, but I dont have a subscription. Could somebody who has a subscription tell me who those 3 are?

Sounds like promising news. I'm not getting excited until the LOI is signed though.

I am in hopes we get Rueben just as much as the next guy but to say he is the savior of a team that won a NC last year is fricking ridiculous. We need a savior because of 1 saeson where we didn't win a BCS bowl game? Give me a break. Oh ya and before I forget...
