The Jordan Brand Classic will be a really interesting game to watch. If I'm not mistaken, if we get Newman, the west will have 3 Tigers and the East will have 3 Wildcats (UK)...
Will be one hell of a battle.
He did say in an interview that he would like to announce at the McD's if he had his mind made up by then. I do think it comes down to the guard situation at UK, LSU, and KU with LSU's being the most open to him and the other two needing someone to leave for him to consider it.

The problem he is going to have with that is I think signing day is before the last day underclassmen can take their name out the NBA Draft, so he won't know for sure that the Harrison's are going to stay or go

There is a huge scandal brewing which may be part of the reason for Malik going out of state. It does not directly effect Malik. It is more about MSHSAA board members manipulating officials to predetermine winners. This will make
national news.

Not to mention he's pissed at MSHSAA for not letting Callaway go to the National Tournament.

UK looks to have another monster class coming in. Not that it matters but do we pass them up for the top class on all the recruiting sites if we get Newman? Considering Victor isn't going to count towards that I will def consider ours as the best this year if we get him.

We'll be right there with them but I think they pass us up just due to the quantity of their class, which I have no issue with. We would have three five stars, two of which were/are ranked the top player and a beast of a scorer

I was told, what I feel like 100 times, that Simmons, Newman, Blakeney would give us the #1 class.
I haven't looked myself though and done the math. I'm sure if Victor counted, we'd definitely have it locked up.

Sign with LSU Malik...you will actually play 28+ minutes here instead of @ 20 or less with UK. Your family can see at least over half your games vs the two UK's.

If m and m both come back lsu will have 5 guys that were 5 star recruits. Mickey robertson and quartermain that were pretty high 4 stars. National juco of the year in jg. And then guys like patterson and hornsby that have shown they can play. Basically talent will not be an excuse.....we should dominate most teams with that lineup.
