Off the top of my head I know of an OT out of Houston named Tyler higby, an OLB out of New Orleans names Arthur McGinnis, T.D. Moton out of Shreveport and CB Kendall Sheffield out of Missouri, tx

We've offered Higby and Moton, per 247.
I'll add McGinnis for sure

Guess I should have looked a little better, I see you already had a couple of those. My bad.

No worries
I cleaned it up a little bit so it's easier to follow. Each "reply" to the OP is categorized by position. I figure that will be the most organized way to do it.

What are our chances with Mack? I hear he has some good interest in us.

I've been hearing good things about our chances. Apparently it was all A&M until we offered recently. That'd be an enormous pickup.

If we land LF and other running backs projected to sign with LSU in 2015 and 2016 class we would be looking at a backfield with LF as the starter, Nick Brossette & Derrius Guice rotating in, and Devin White getting a few touches as well. That would HAVE to be the best quality depth at running back for LSU in the last decade or two. On paper of course.

Louisiana is not short on RB talent for years to come.

Is that right?
ETA: this thread is the tits though thanks for taking the time to do it.

No problem at all. As you can see, I took on the task back in March, but have been too busy to organize it until now.
Now that I've got it fairly organized, it won't be an issue to update as the recruiting landscape starts to take shape.
But yes, there will be a surplus of elite RBs out of Louisiana in the next couple years.

All TAMU until we offered. He really liked us. No doubt in my mind that brick stays on him hard. He mentioned in an interview that he liked that TAMU beat bama. So here's to bama and LSU bringing that program back down to earth this year.

Dont ya love it when a plan comes together

But as far as the 2015 class goes, it looks like it is shaping up to have even more depth than the '14 class. Of course the '14 class has the star power and the elite of the elite but the '15 class MAY have a little more depth. I might be missing something so yall dont crucify me for saying that but I think my argument holds water.

I agree. There are about 12-15 Louisiana guys that I could see being takes.
ETA: I think Tyron Johnson is the only 5* but there are a plethora of 4*s.

Highly ranked 4*'s at that. Kevin Toliver will end up being a 5* as well though. I think Nick Brosette is extremely underrated in these rankings but if he just even duplicates his numbers his senior year he will shoot up the rankings because its hard having a 2000 yard season with a target on your back.

He and Moton plugging up the middle

Is there a real chance of getting another top notch QB ?
Posted on 8/4/13 at 10:09 am to brewhan davey
I would consider adding Pellerin, the QB from Catholic-NI. Cameron and them are taking a good, hard look at him. Not quite sure if he's going to be the next Brandon Harris or another Donovan Isom/Quentin Gibson (as in good, but not quite at the LSU offer level).
Rashid Bonnette as a DB is possible.
