I don’t care if he needs to take time out of practice for Auburn to drive Kevin and Trev Faulk to Lafayette they have to stop this bleeding to Bama. Sage plays our biggest position of need in the defense right now and would be the day 1 starting safety with Stingley, Ricks and Mo Hampton or Toles or he could even start at nickel corner if that’s what he preferred. His addition even as a freshman could transform what’s been a bad secondary back to the normal dominant DBU secondary we all know. He’s just that good. O, Raymond and Busch get your asses in gear because if I get a Halloween “surprise” on Saban’s birthday I will most certainly vomit in a kids candy bucket.

None of the recruits have even committed yet. There’s no bleeding to stop aside from social media and recruiting site chatter. We kicked their arse last year in the game physically and in recruiting battles head to head last year.

When some of the biggest recruiting guys in our area are saying there’s fire that Sage will pick Baka on Halloween (Saban’s Firth day for frick sake) then yes there’s bleeding to stop. When your pass defense, particularly your safeties, has been the worst part of a terrible defense so far there’s bleeding. THis kid is in LSU’s backyard and is good enough to help stop all that as freshman starter with Stingley and Ricks.

yeah it will be terrible to lose the top safety in the country from lafayette LA and the cousin to kevin faulk to alabama it's terrible. Safety is a huge need and to lose him would be bad but to bama makes it even worse.

Jamal Adams started two games his first season. Eric Reid only one more at three starts his freshman year at LSU. Jacoby Stevens the last 5 star top 10 type guy well...He watched as Grant Delpit started 10 games as a freshman. Delpit would be the best player in college football on defense his first two seasons. So good that the Thorpe award would be just given to him as if his greatness had to be acknowledged despite the injury and the role change he had to accept...
That's how good a prospect has to be to end up playing real snaps in year one in the LSU secondary. So good that they give you a career award in freaking college. And you think that Sage Ryan is on this level? The best to ever step into the safety at lsu level? The smart money says he isn't.
