If we don't get him, we won't have anything off the bench next year hardly.

Anybody got any updates on GG's back situation?

Our lineup won't look too bad. We have to stay healthy, get Johnson, and not have any attrition (behavior problems, grades, etc).

PG: Spencer/Bass
SG: Dotson/Farrer
SF: Taz/Johnson
PF: Storm/Ludwig
C: Green/Harris

With the lack of depth at SG, I'd imagine we would see a lot of backcourts with both Bass and Spencer playing, with Dotson or Johnson at the 3 and Taz sliding down to 4.

most people i know who are tight with the team say everythings going okay and he should be good by the time practice starts.

last year there were many games where we only went 7 deep. we were fortunate enough to have so many seniors with so much experience and leadership that when we did have an injury like bo's ankle, all we had to do was slide garrett to the 1 and move terry martin into the starting line up. we wont have those luxuries this year but if we can have at least 9 guys capable of playing minutes we should be alright from a bench standpoint.

even if noel were to come off the bench he is go ing to see a lot of minutes.

if Taz actually cared about the tigers next year, he would play the 4. And harris is in no way a center. He is a SF type player that could play PF. Ludwig is a sad backup PF for an SEC team. And Noel would start over Dotson anyday IMO.

Harris may not be a center, but he will have to play the 5 some next year, to guard the taller players. Besides Green, he's the only one on the team over 6'7".

Is Johnson capable of starting at the 2? I honestly don't know much about him. The few video clips I've seen have shown him shooting really well, but I haven't seen anything about his ballhandling skills.
