Realistically, players making 6/7 figures per year shouldn’t also need a scholarship to attend a university.
Maybe an indirect boon from this crazy NIL system is more scholarships going to other men’s sports like wrestling, gymnastics, lacrosse.

If that's the case then why are the vast majority of college students who have parents that make >$100k/yr taking on mounds of debt for a college degree? Shouldn't their parents have socked it away in a 529 all these years to cover it?
