What is the difference between 247 Sports and 247 Composite?

The fact that the composite includes ESPN makes it utterly worthless.

I don't know if he moved up any spots, but I think Rettig was a 92 and is now a 93. Also Lewis Neal was bumped from 85 to 87.

How's Cutrer's grade situation looking? Are Les and co. expecting him to make the cut?

I havn't heard much about Chris Jones on the Recruiting boards. I see he is committed to Ms. State and has moved up to the no. 2 spot on 247 but he holds no LSU offer. Anyone have any idea if he was a target for LSU and maybe had no interest at all?

247 Chris Jones….DE

With the final update to the 247Sports rankings, a number of LSU commitments received a big bump in their ratings, helping the Tigers to leap up to the No. 4 class, and no. 7 in the 247Composite. Here's a rundown of the newest rankings: ***** With 26 commitments for the 2013 class, LSU has moved up to the No. 4 overall spot in the 247Sports team rankings. The Tigers were previously ranked No. 8 in the team rankings. ***** Shreveport athlete Tre'Davious White was awarded a fifth star, the lone LSU commitment for the 2013 class ranked as a five-star prospect by 247. ***** Breakdown: LSU has 1 5-star, 18 4-stars and 7 3-stars. The average rank for the class is 91.42, and the total number of points has climbed to 760.92. ***** LSU now has five commitments ranked in the Top 100: CB Tre'Davious White (No. 9), DT Greg Gilmore (No. 59), OLB Kendell Beckwith (No. 68), OT Ethan Pocic (No. 72) and DE Frank Herron (No. 75) ***** 15 of LSU's 26 commitments are currently ranked in the Top247, one of the largest numbers in the country. ***** LSU is ranked third in the SEC in the team rankings, trailing only Alabama (No. 1) and Florida (No. 2). Notre Dame is currently the third-ranked team on 247Sports.

White is not even in ESPN's top 300. That alone tells you all you need to know about ESPN's coverage of recruiting.
