Interesting. Sounds good to me. We'll see.

Anyone remember Nigel King last year?

The guy that went to Maryland? I thought with proper coaching and his size and speed he had a chance to be something special.

Yeah from the unknown factor they r similar but this kid is a lot better and is more physically ready than Nigel was. I think he would be a nice addition with Avery

If we get this kid that would mean we wouldn't have to go after a JUCO Big WR. Also, this kid committing would possibly lead to an offer for Bourque as an ATH instead of us waiting to evaluate him at WR.

Orlando Sentinel has him rated as the 10th best prospect in the whole state of Florida.

Rated number 1 of course is Avery Johnson and his buddy Nacho Garcia is number 3. I'm loving the idea that LSU may have a chance of snagging 3 of Florida's best prospects.

Florida top 100

I like that Avery is number one but from personal experience Avery isn't better than Pittman or Louis.

He is a beast.

I would love to see a 2012 WR class of:
WR - Avery Johnson - FL [LSU]
WR - D'Vario Montgomery - FL (Louisiana transplant)
WR - Alonzo Moore - LA -or- Travin Dural - LA

Take 2 athletes:
ATH - Davante’ Bourque - LA (WR/RB)
ATH - Devon Breaux - LA (DB/WR)

no offense but I will take the opinion of coaches, and scouts who get aid to watch tape all day + I know his genetics.

Yeah we have made it to the playoffs the past two years and I played at a private school before that. So I have watched film/played against/watched play/went to camp with a lot of the top players in the state. I am always impressed by Miami athletes. Dade county never lets you down. I think Avery is really good. But, I think the article is not giving justice to Louis and Pittman. Avery is without a doubt top 5 though. His film may not show it but the guy is a solid player.

Yeah, I'm from south Florida, we had our season ended by those Dade athletes twice, the game is just played at a different speed over there. Good luck with the rest of your career.
