My assessment of the 2016 class

Boy, what a ride this has been!
From the beginning of the season when Coach Cam was diagnosed with prostate cancer, becoming the #2 ranked team in the country with undoubtably the heisman frontrunner... To then the rough stretch in November losing 3 straight. Following that the shite show Alleva created with Miles and the thought of a new HC for the Tigers. Last but not least, losing one of our top recruiters and recruiting coordinator Coach Frank a little more than 2 weeks ago.
But in this midst of all that, we kept CLM, finish with a great season (10-3 in my books), bring back the juniors while signing, historical, one of the best classes ever assembled in the past decade, Imo.
Kudos to this LSU staff for locking down Louisiana. Feels damn good to be a Tiger!

It's been a roller coaster ride for sure! Congrats to the coaches, players, and families of all the recruites! Job well done.

How about adding in that Cam got fired yesterday, then later in the day he got re hired.
Just keeping that roller coaster moving along.

We went 9-3, not 10-3. Your definition of "great" has a way lower bar than it should.

Cause playing McNeese would have really proven we were a better team. 9-3 isn't bad for a down year playing in the SEC West.

That's irrelevant. Our record is our record. If we had scheduled 3 more games against other Louisiana schools, we would be 12-3, so let's just say we were 12-3.

Agree to disagree

It should keep them on their toes!

This thread title is highly misleading. I thought you would be breaking down how many pancake blocks Cushenberry had his senior year, how fast Devin White runs the 40 and whether Lindsey Scott will be operating more out of the shotgun or behind center.
