Who's going to make the bigger contribution in 2010, William Campbell or Lache Seastrunk?

Add me to the list that agrees with Farrell. LS is just having fun with recruiting, but all indications is that LS is a smart level headed kid.

Do any of us really believe that Auburn putting together a couple of flashy visits and talking about Ronnie Brown and Cadallaic is enough to attract a smart recruit like LS away from a school he really like(d) and towards a team that had a losing record and a coach with a crappy resume?

I don't.

So the only thing he's basing this on is that he's friends with Reed, Reed's a LSU lean, therefore Seastrunk is coming?

I have no idea where he's going to end up, but since Lache visited Auburn in early April, I havent seen anything to suggest he's considering another school.

I've seen dozens of quotes from Seastrunk since he's visited Auburn and not one has included the letters LSU

"They haven't lied to me or my mom," he adds. "They have been straight honest with me. Auburn has an offensive coordinator (Gus Malzahn) who has worked with Darren McFadden. Auburn is a college that produced runners like Bo Jackson. They know their stuff. They know exactly what they need to do to get you where you need to be."

CFB...

He's an Auburn lock. If I were you and other AU fans, I wouldn't sweat it.

Remember that you're on an LSU site. What else are you expecting to hear?

You don't seem to be as confident as you were a month ago. C'mon guy. Keep it together.

No one will mess with you or other AU posters next NSD, if Lache ends up somewhere else after all the things that you guys have proved points to Auburn the past few months.

Trust me.

Meh, I clicked it and got a message that non-Rivals members get. It didn't mention Seastrunk, but maybe that is on me and not you.

And why would a school like LSU, who runs a running back by committee scheme that can fit in any good young RB, lie to Seastrunk? Do you think Auburn has a monopoly on being honest with him, or that Lache is stupid enough to think they have the monopoly on recruiting honesty?

That can be a positive, but schools like LSU have great RB traditions as well. Charles Scott got 1000+ yards LAST YEAR, while Auburn was a losing team and Auburn's head coach was losing plenty of games at Iowa State.

Auburn has some positives, but not enough to sway a smart recruit from a team he really likes when they have as many positives as LSU offers. Andre Debose wrote papers on Les Miles last year, what did that turn out to mean? Nothing.

I can't believe how many people are buying into Auburn being a clear front runner here.

With the way Louisiana and Houston breeds runners, LSU will never NEED to get a RB that is from outside the state.

Well shite, it's early so it is not like it matters anyway. But, at this point in the recruiting game every sign you can look for points to Auburn. I realize things can change quickly, but still.
