not to give out premium info, but he specifically said he was concerned about our inability on offense and how we're not getting the ball to our playmakers

He says he's worried that playmakers aren't getting touches (including a certain freshman WR).

Yet A&M is still in the conversation. Explain that.

Well that's very reasonable.

Because LSU today reflects what LSU was in 2004, when the current seniors signed.

That's like Brandon Lafell not wanting to sign with LSU b/c Marcus Randall sucked.

Just dumb logic right there.

I have to believe this young man can't be this short-sighted.

Nope, i dont think he's that short sighted, but when you have coaches from UT/A@M constantly telling u this, it has an effect.

IMO

Because Mike Sherman is oozing with credibility about how to play offense?

A lot can change in an off-season.
I expect next year to look completely different.

I would agree that Davis is very "iffy" after the interview on TB. I hope the "want" to get the ball to our playmakers turns into the "we got" the ball to our playmakers.

There is reason for him to be concerned. Anyone can see we are struggling to throw the ball and get it to our playmakers. As long as our coaches do a good job continuing to sell Davis on JJ improving and him being a focal point of our offense then I think we're fine. He always sounds like he geniunely loves LSU, just wants to make sure he is going to be utilized effectively.

And I agree about him being the gem of this class, he's a playmaker.

I wish White would hurry up and commit to UT. He is really starting to piss me and Mack Brown off.

Unless it was OU that contacted Davis...any chance of that? They are usually all over the DFW area. Perhaps they got the vibe that White was leaning away from them?
