Not that we were after him but leaves us with only 3 offers to uncommitted QB's

Hundley - not in top 5
Brissett - Unsure of interest from either side
Ely - appears to be our number 1 target but now that Worley is to Tennesse I believe if Notre Dame offers he goes there.

That leaves the local kids Prescott and Oliver. Guessing they will both camp.

This could get interesting.. stay tuned.

CJ Uzomah is still out there, but he's more of a project at QB at this point. He's still a possibility though.

Thats right...Yeah, I don't even know if you can consider him your "only" option at QB if you're taking only 1. Like you said more of a "project". He is listed as an athlete on Rivals but a QB on Scout.

I haven't heard much of anything on this guy.

His film wasn't bad, if memory serves, but I don't know if he's someone we can pin the future of the program on. We haven't had good luck developing QBs on campus over the past several seasons, so I'm not really crazy about taking on another project.

I think more teams are starting to look at Uzomah at tight end more than quarterback

I guess our best bet now would be Brissett to Notre Dame and Eli to LSU

That would fill out the Worley, Williams, Eli, Brissett carosel.

As long as Lee really sticks to LSU, then we only need 1 QB in this class and can afford to be very picky. That being said I think we keep Lee here and can easily see Ely as our guy

No problems with a project QB...project or not they won't be playing for 2 years MINIMUM.

Why are we not going after Stephen Rivers out of Alabama?

And why does USC have to Rivals 250 guys commited to them that no one has poached yet?

Have we given up on Dominic Merka? I saw he commited to TCU, but shouldn't LSU be able to take a TCU recruit if we wanted to?

What about Broderick Hall? Is he any good?

Whoa, man . . . just relax. You're sounding WAY too uptight about the QB situation, brahhhhhhhh. Just be mellow, Dudeness: it's only July; plenty of time to snag a five-star with 4.3 speed and a cannon for an arm. Just think how much worse things would be if we had Zack Oliver coming in! So just chiiiiiiill out, daddy-o. If you can hold-on a minute I'll go light some incense . . . .

Jackass. I TOLD ya.

Yup . . . there must be something magic in wearing a pansy, powder-puff blue football uniform.

But maybe I've been too quick to judge; there could be some serious psychological issues in play here. Think about it: as boys we're all taught NOT to hit girls, right? Well, Carolina Blue is a decidedly feminine color, so maybe they're trying to give their players an advantage by having them not hit so hard (i.e., the punch being pulled at the moment of impact). I truly think I'm on to something here: e.g., the Tennessee "Lady Vols" ADD Carolina Blue to their basketball uniforms to make them more feminine; the Louisiana Tech "Lady Techsters" soften Tech's Royal Blue to a Carolina Blue to make the unis more feminine. Also, Carolina Blue seems to be the most common blue used to paint Handicapped Parking spaces; once again, they're protecting their players by psyching-out the competition. I guess there's a certain amount of brilliance amongst all that girlishness.

I'm not sure to what you are referring, Miss Crickets. Could you supply some "fugging" specificity, please?

I am relaxed. I just want to know what other options (besides the holy deliverer Zack Oliver) were left.

Are you calling me a jackass? What's the point in that? I just want to know where we stand, if at all, with these other guys.
