Don't know why he would want to compete for mediocrity in the ACC halfway across the country from his home than compete for crystal balls in the SEC on a team that is producing d-linemen like Penn State used to produce LBers and is only one state over.

Besides Glen Dorsey and Tyson who both suck in the NFL, who else has LSU produced?

Dorsey grades out pretty well as a 3-4 end every year. He's playing in a scheme that doesn't lend itself to linemen putting up big numbers, but he doesh is job well.

Glen Dorsey
Playing well considering what he is asked to do in that scheme. It's not like he drafted himself and forced his own self to play a position he wasn't best suited for.

I wasn't counting Brockers. Anthony MacFarland, I forgot about him. Kyle doesn't count because he a fifth rounder shame that he is the only one besides booger that is actually productive. When he said that LSU was the Penn State of DLinemen, I was expecting high rounders not Kyle Williams. At least 3rd rounders not 5th.

So it's Spears,Jackson, Dorsey and MacFarland. Not even close Dline U.

When he said that LSU was the Penn State of DLinemen,
Penn State got its rep from the large number of LB's playing in the NFL.

Not because they were all early rounders.

LSU has a bunch of lineman playing in the league.

Here is a burner for you, bro.

Penn State LB's in the NFL ==>9
LSU DL in the NFL ========>9

So. . .

Past 8 years nobody has put more lineman in the NFL...I think that speaks for itself.

3 top 10 picks in 4 years? We'll see where Brockers falls.

You get paid if you go to LSU. That is the point. Most of our lineman get drafted. How many other schools can boast that?

It's not about the numbers. No one says OMG "Tim Shaw he is going to be a one because he is from Linebacker U" or "Tim Shaw he is a product of line backer U". They go is Tim Shaw?

People only bring up LB U when highly regarded Linebackers come out. Not when some guy that will get drafted late in the draft.

Source on you guys having the most D-linemen in the NFL.

No, it's about seeing those guys on the field, making plays. More people watch football games, than watch the NFL Draft.

None of those guys make plays outside of Kyle Williams.

Jarvis Green was another, btw.

I would argue that LSU has as many DL playing in the league, making plays, as PSU has LB's doing same.
